Cafe Lotus is the restaurant that sits in front of the lotus pond at Pura Saraswati in Ubud. My brief visit the other was very pleasant and I enjoyed the tranquility. There are organized events at Cafe Lotus, featuring
giving diners the opportunity to enjoy Balinese traditional dance performances.

Out in the provinces in Bali there is a local dance called a joged. This dance is a mating ritual that is very popular with locals. The musical accompaniment is a small gamelan orchestra and the participants, a single male and female.
