Xtreme Toys: Legian Bali

One of the eye catching shops on Jl. Legian in Legian is Xtreme Toys. If you pass by you will notice the strange looking skateboards and weird bicycles they have outside. The company tag line is ‘Hard core toys, Xtreme Toys n other cool stuff’. They used to be dedicated solely to fringe sports and the shop was stocked with the paraphernalia that supported them. On my recent visit, I saw that there are now more racks of t-shirts and accessories, to compliment the sports equipment.

The front of the shop stocks a selection of Oakley sunglasses and sandals, t-shirts and skateboards. You can also select from a rack of brightly colored skateboard decks, as well as the speedy looking black, long-deck boards. The staff told me skateboards cost somewhere in the region of 1.6m rp, depending on the model.

Snorkel gear is available and in the rear of the shop and also a selection of Suunto dive computers (3.1m rp). I checked out a couple of funky looking bicycles, one of which was a tandem. The asking price was 7.2m rp.

Xtreme Toys is open daily from 8.30am - 11.00rp. There are 4 locations in Bali.
