Warung Mimpi: Seminyak Bali

Warung Mimpi on Jl. Dhyana Pura serves Indonesian food with western friendly slant. There is no tongue, chicken heads, or super potent odors. Instead, Warung Mimpi., which means ‘dream’ , serves sapi rendang (beef in a dark spicy coconut sauce ) from Sumatra, greens with chili and garlic, satay tuna, and chicken in a tangy sauce. Today I went over and looked at what was on offer.

Sometimes riding to the warung there might be a particular flavor in my mind that I have to satisfy, sometimes I’m just
looking for the freshest items. Today I choose greens, rice, eggplants and shredded chicken with lemon and chili (ayam sisit). It took 2 minutes to get, 5 minutes to eat and along with my OJ cost 23,000rp. Mimpi is so close I can fill the tank fast and easy.
