The Fat Man is back

Did you ever get those urges for a particular food?. Well, I did and it was last night!. A pizza, a pizza…my Wombat burrow for a pizza! (Henry V, get your own pizza!).

So, Candika and the Wombat cruised on down to Poppies lane 1 heading to Locanda Latina for an Italian delight. I did a review on Locanda Latina last time. It was once Fat Yogi’s. Guess what?. The Fat man is back - the Yogi. The restoran has returned to the former and Fat Yogi’s is better than ever complete with the original wood-fired oven. You can’t miss the place. The decor is the same and is still an enjoyable place to dine, or relax with a ‘coldie’ and watch videos or sports games on a large screen.

Of course Fat Yogi’s doesn’t just serve pizzas, but have a good selection of Italian, Indonesian, and seafood on the menu. However, it was my stomach that desired ‘the best pizza in town’. Candika surprised me [again] by imbibing in the same tucker and wasted no time perusing the fair-sized list of pizzas and the various toppings.

Candika chose the Margaritta wth extra onions and garlic. That soon disappeared and she was eyeing off my choice of the Capricciosa - onions, ham, pepperoni, anchovies, olives and garlic. Needless to say, I lost a piece of my delicious pizza to Candika’s nimble fingers!. Both pizzas were absolutely and scrumptiously moorish as well as bloody bagus!. The guy that prepares and cooks the pizzas even came to our table and enquired if we enjoyed them. A nice touch I thought.
