The name means ‘you’re welcome’. Sama sama is located close to Azizah on the right side of Jl. Legian heading towards Kuta, just below Jl. Double Six. I spoke with the owner, Wayan. Sama Sama specializes in hand painted t-shirts, screen printing, lycra, rayon, cotton, retail and wholesale.
Sama Sama sells a selection of brighly colored cotton t-shirts with Hindu motif and pictures. Wayan told me they come from Thailand, but he also sells single color ones that he makes (160,000rp). Wayan seemed a nice guy and told me his shop has been operating for the last 12 years. Sama Sama is open from 9am – 9pm.
