Pizza for dinner at Good Luck in Kuta Bali

pizza083105.jpgWith our new dollar to rupiah valuation ( $1=10,288rp) I wanted to take Ika out for some food. We went to Good Luck Restaurant on Jl. Benesari, about 40 meters past Warung 96 heading to the beach. I have mentioned this place many times before but for people staying in the Kuta area this place offers good food. They have a new owner / chef from Italy who has slimmed down the old menu. They still serve the great pizzas but there are a few changes. Ika ordered grilled fish and I had a Santa Fe pizza with ground beef, jalapenos and beans. My pizza was awesome and cost me 38,000rp (US$3.69). Good Luck has had some minor decorations and put in some warung style benches, a great idea!

While there all the staff wanted to hold Jevon and he was cool with it after Ika fed him (the natural way). Good Luck is located next to Surf Travel Online, so surfers who are looking for a surf tour, board or just a great pizza, come on over.

Hi Nick,

With the rupiah getting cheaper to the greenback, do you have to pay more for the foods at eatery places catering to Bule?

Tony,

Hey WoP (I assume you are a WoP or a Wet-Back), you could have answered it nicely, but that is okay.

I read on Jakarta post online about price increases on many basic products in indonesia after the rupiah fall.
