Mystic Art Gallery: Jl. Kunti Seminyak
Mystic art gallery is a 2-storey place on Jl. Kunti in Seminyak. I’m no artist, but it seems to focus on abstract and ethnic art. Located just 30 meters in from Jl. Seminyak, Mystic is a handy place for shoppers who are cruising the main street. I talked to the staff who told me that photographing the art work was prohibited. Mystic features the work of many local Balinese artists.
In true Bali tradition, the same guy can crank out variations of the same painting till the sun goes down, but to the foreign tourist, he’s a genius. I went upstairs and checked out some of the work, featuring semi-nudes. Some of the paintings are quite large, maybe 2 meters by 2 meters and are great or people wanting to brighten up their pad. Colors tend to be bright and heading upstairs I detected a bit of the old Andy Warhol influence with the ‘Buddhas on LSD’ type thing. Mystic is open from 9am-9pm

thank goodness i found you .i have been searching the net for ages to find the art gallery you have noted on your web site .However there is no email adress for them do you have this avail for mystic please??further more do you know of many really good furniture manufacturers who provide really good quality and can supply to a shop in perth ???also is the postage safe in Bali registered .would appreciate your comments
