Mama’s German Restaurant is a dedicated German restaurant, located on Jl. Legian in Legian. Mama’s German Restaurant features, a street side pork knuckle roast, bar, tables and life size cutout of Saddam Hussein in lederhausen. There is also an inside restaurant area. Prices at Mama’s aren’t bad, and if you need a taste of that good old fashioned ‘meat lover’s food, there’s no better place.

I sat at the bar and watched a part of a German soccer game. With the World Cup starting in Germany on June 9th, many people will be getting a taste of German food and beer.

The menu is divided into : Breakfast, Appetizer, Salads & Side Dishes, Light Meals, Steaks, From the Spit, German Specialties, Soup Kettle, Pizza & Pasta, Indonesian, Special Menu, Burger & Hot Dogs, Sausages, Dessert & Cakes. Add to that some Erdinger beer and you can close your eyes and pretend you are in Bavaria.

Mama’s German Restaurant has a web site listing all menu items and prices, which you might like to browse. Mama’s is open 24/7 and will be a great place to enjoy the World Cup in June.
