Liana: Silk clothing on Jl. Kunti in Seminyak

Walking along Jl. Kunti, one place that caught my eye was Liana. This shop specializes in silk clothing, and is located on Jl. Kunti located about 50 meters in from Jl. Seminyak, on the left side. The items in stock include men’s & women’s silk and cotton tops. I checked out a few collarless and collared short and long sleeve shirts, which were a mixture of cotton and silk. Here in Bali rayon and very thin cotton is the go, at least by some people. The climate definitely is made for ultra thin clothing.

Sarongs are all sold. I checked out some prices and found that a men’s collarless short sleeve shirt is 450,000rp and a small ladies silk top is 450,000rp. They won’t negotiate on price, but can do wholesale. Liana has women’s wear from petite to plus sizes and with the size of most of the bule’s walking around these days they better start making XXL. Liana uses natural fibers, organic hand woven cotton and naturally dyed silk and silk cotton.
