Your fun packed holiday in Bali can sometimes get derailed by illness or injury. For people staying in Kuta who want somewhere and don't want to pay the prices that BIMC and SOS charge, you might try Legian Clinic. The clinic is located on Jl. Benesari about 10 meters in from Jl. Legian close to Mama's. Open 24 hours it offers a range of simple services like eye irrigation and wound attention. I went in and used the bathroom which was upstairs. The building is old and feels like an 'affordable clinic'. It doesn't have the spotless feel of BIMC, but then again that doesn't mean the treatment isn't good. Doctors are available on call.
There were 8 braches of the Legian Clinic and currently only 4 of them are open. These are:
Legian-Jl. Benesari (0361 75850
Kuta-Jl. Pantai Kuta, Poppies I (0361) 757326
Kuta-Jl. Pantai Kuta, Poppies II 081 239 25230
Ubud-Jl. Monkey Forest (0361) 970805
You might keep these addresses and number handy if you are surfing on the reef.
