Living close to Jl. Dhyana Pura in Seminyak I often stroll down the street to a plce called Kemangi for lunch. Kemangi is a type of Balinese flower, its look like a mint leaf. My favourite thing to get is soto ayam, a type of chicken soup. Soto ayam comes with bean sprouts, hard boiled egg, glass noodles, a lime and sambal (chili paste). I hate glass noodles and tell the staff to leaves them out. But the remains is great, the lime give is that tang, and the sambal bit of a bite.

One bowl goes for 10,000rp and takes about 5 minutes after I order it. Today my taste was for something else. Grabbing the remote and flicking over to Premiership soccer, I ordered a watermellon juice, a chicken satay and a portion of rice. All great for 26,000rp

Kemangi is located across the street from Warung 96 on Jl. Dhyana Pura.
