thanks rista, the last time i was in bali was april 2003, i was getting rp 4,200 to the aus dollar. when i`m in bali i like to stay for a month `now 30 days` and i live on a daily budget, one for kuta and one for padangbai, then at the end of the holiday i spend what ive got left-over on shopping. so its always good to get an idea of how much some things are going to cost before i get there, and i always like to have the departure tax money correct and ready to pay when i`m leaving. thanks again! scotty…

Hi scotty !
These day u can expect to pay large bintang for
about Rp25000,its depend on the location.area.
For the departure tax will cost you Rp100.000 that if your visa as tourist.but if your visa is
sosial budaya or your working in indonesia it will cost you Rp 1000.000′it called fiscal.

yeah nick, talking about cheap beer, i looked close at the happy hour sign at PJ`S, but could not see any prices, how much can i expect to pay for a large or small bintang these days(outside)happy hour prices. and could you also please tell me how much the departure tax is these days. thankyou.
