Fuel is the trendy looking bar situated next to the Sari Club site on Jl. legian in Kuta. I have been in there a couple of time and last night Chris and I went it. Sitting at the bar at the back, we could look out across the lounge area to the street and watch the people passing by.
Fuel is a lounge bar and restaurant and has won prizes locally for the best lounge bar. One of the male staff wandered over and I asked him if he was the manager. He looked confused and said "I don't know," before telling us how great the food was.
The bar staff at Fuel as well as the PR staff are cool. most of the bartenders are local Balinese and before the pacegets busy they sit and share some fruit behind the bar. The PR staff are mostly from Java and seem pretty relaxed. While Chris and I sat at the bar discussing the finer point of premiership football, a stunning lady in a white dress sat next to us a couple of stools down. I am married so it didn't do me any good but I was thinking chris might like to offer her a drink. We settled for Wayne Rooney's chances in next year's World Cup and the lovely lady was left to her own devices as we went across the street to check out MBarGo.
