Convenience store staff in Kuta Bali
Internet Outpost is a well known location on Poppies II in Kuta. Right next to it is a convenience store / pharmacy. Every time I pull up and park there the staff say hello and ask me where the electric chewing gum is, myself having shocked half of Kuta month ago. This shop has about 8 neatly dressed staff and hardly any customers. Today I went in and bought my usual Pocari Sweat, in preparation of a long blogging session next door.
Checking out the chocolate bars a young gay guy offered to give me the tour of the chocolate selection. He was very nice and I told him I might come back later and pick up a little something for my wife. Someone has sunk money into this place and is paying wages. I wonder how long they can hold out with not many customers. When Kuta is busy they’ll make bank again.
