Blue Ocean bar and restaurant: Legian Bali

At the end of Jl. Double Six in Legian is Blue Ocean Beach, named after the first bar on the beach. Blue Ocean has undergone a renovation within the last year and the place has a new energy. Its neighbor, Benny's has also undergone a make over, now complete with sexy waitresses and an upstairs area and a new name, Lanai. Blue Ocean has 2 big things going for it in my opinion. It is located across from the beach, allowing guests to watch the pounding surf, and it serves Storm beer. Typing an article sipping an ice cold Golden Ale is like being in heaven.

The menu is divided into: In the morning, Snacks, Salads, Appetizers, Les Potages (soups), Main, Fish, Asian, Desserts.

There is also a Specials menu.
A sample breakfast would be Spanish (ham, cheese, tomato, onion, garlic omelet, 3 pieces of toast from homemade bread, coffee/ tea) for 20,000rp.

A sample Main would be Pan Seared Barramundi Fillet (served with salad or vegetables, mashed potatoes and salsa verde) 45,000rp. A small Bintang is 12,000rp and glass of red or white Australian is 15,000rp.

This afternoon I popped in and there were 4 customers, one of who was AJ Hackett, the founder of bungy jumping. I said hi, but he was busy with a meeting.
