Beef rendang at Warung Mimpi: Seminyak Bali

Call me old fashioned, but I like steak and potatoes. I also like plenty of other stuff too, but when either is on the menu I lean towards them. Today for lunch I walked over to Warung Mimpi on Jl. Dhyana Pura for some quick food. Warung Mimpi (dream) has ready made food as well as a menu.

The staff know me and are very nice people. Today I ordered eggplant, greens and beef rendang (beef in thick, spicy, coconut milk sauce). Add to that dollop of sambal and I am good to go. The place only had 2 other customers but does get busy during the dinner session.

My lunch plus OJ cost 23,000rp. Awesome. Now I am loaded with energy I am going down to the gym to get huge. Weighing in at a massive 160lbs (73kgs) I might get to 165lb before the year is out. Noticing that sitting down all day and drinking Bintang can give me a gut (plus being 42), I have cut back on the Bintang and work out more. So far it great!
