One of the famous Australian friendly hangouts in Kuta is Bali Aussie, located on Jl. Melasti #69X. This place is decked out is gold and green and plastered with Aussie sports memorabilia. Graffiti seems to have been encouraged as all the walls and pillars are covered with slogans and signatures. The single storey bar is a fair size and can probably seat 200. The atmosphere in here is of a place that has been around for a while that has seen a lot of drinking. A small Bintang here goes for 10,000rp, a Mai Tai 29,500rp. Bali Aussie does a Roast dinner every Wednesday and Sunday and an Oz BBQ every Friday. I can imagine this place at the peak of Bali toursim in 1998, full of blokes in tank top with stubbies in their hands all roaring on the Brisbane Broncos to spank the Poms. And why not? The food menu is divided into Breakfast (American breakfast 11,500rp), Light Lunches (Club Sandwich 23,500rp), Soup (Soup of the Day 9,500rp), Salad (Caesar Salad 10,500rp), Aussie Meal (Rissoles & Onion Gravy 35,500rp), Seafood (Fish Moray 27,500), Mexican Dishes (Tacos 29,500rp), Entrée (Garlic Bread 8,500rp), W.A Harvey Beef Imported Steak (T Bone 56,500rp), Indonesian Dishes (Gado Gado 12,500rp), Kids Corner (Fish finger & Chips 14,500rp), Other Dishes (Beef Stroganoff 21,500rp), Chinese Dishes (Chicken Cashew 19,500rp), Dessert (Banana Split 16,500rp).
There is also a Specials menu including Pasta, Pizza.

Just had our 6th trip since we discovered bali 5 years ago.Balli Aussie Restaurant in Melasti Street is just a fantastic place to go.Very quiet at the moment so all you auusies going, go and the gang at Bali Aussie(Niki,Lee,Komang,Annie and Dong Dong).They will look after you.They now have a large map of Australia with a small plane flying across to Bali on the front wall as a water feature. Lots of graffit on the walls,Aussies love the place.
The meat there is West Australian Harvey Beef so pie and chips,spag bog is on the menu.Don”t be afraid,its West Aussie. ENJOY !!!!!
