Air Sanih: Freshwater springs close to Singaraja

For those driving the tiring coastal road from Amed to Singaraja, here’s another place you can stop for invigoration. The ice cold freshwater springs at Air Saneh (Yeh Saneh). The springs are surrounded by garden and there are changing facilities. The cost is 3,000rp and the springs are open 7am-7pm.

The small tourist scene that is set up here also attracts locals who love a late afternoon saok in the springs. Can be a good way to relax and check out the local scene also.

You can find accommodation close by including Puri Rahayu, that has okay rooms and a restaurant. Prices around 70,000rp per night.

One of my favourite scenic drives is in north Bali along the Munduk road. Stop at the not touristic but beautiful water there and then the lakes at the top of the mountain range. For some photo’s of this area vist my shots at:
