There’s no limit to the things you can do during your visit. We’ve come up with a few ideas though to get you off to a flying start.
When you've seen one monkey, you've seen them all. Right?. The Monkey Forest Road is one of my favourite places in Ubud and whilst I was in the vicinity on my last sojourn to Bali, I thought why not check out the simians.
I had heard tales of this place. A place where huge bats with massive two metre wingspans hang threateningly from the bows of trees, and where the jungle is so thick, you would need a machete.
Without a doubt one of the most stunningly beautiful attractions Bali has to offer visitors, the Bali Botanical Gardens at Candikuning, will take your breath away.

Bali is a phenomenal surfing location. Easy to fly into, plenty of breaks, both sides of the island for each set of conditions, cheap accommodation, food, nightlife and friendly local ladies. I mean, why would any bloke want to surf at Lennox Heads, when he could surf in Bali?
I have a large collection of sunrise and sunset photos and really didn't need anymore. However, a few people I know who were new to Bali wanted to see their first sunset over Kuta when I was there last time.
I have driven through this town more times than I remember and although Tabanan, the capital of the Tabanan regency, looks just like any other town in Bali, it does contribute to the tourism industry in various ways.
July is shaping up to a fabulous month in Bali with numerous art exhibitions, dance and drama performances, and free tours in certain parts of the island. The culmination of these is the Bali Bangkit Project.
Jet skis are one machine that I have never tried out and I really should. They are extremely popular with young tourists and can be hired at most upmarket hotels.
Wave conditions in Bali today weren’t the greatest, but according to Baliwaves, in the next 36-48 hours there will be swell hitting the island.
