I mentioned in a previous post, about how Aussies like to travel and a lot of the folks I have meet here as doing it. Wanna hear more about them?
With the world about to goto war, terrorism on the rise, Australians are traveling.
I arrived yesterday arvo after an all-night flight. I was a bit tired but surprised to see that Brisbane seems to have grown up a lot since my year in 1994. Maybe it was me that grew up or simply got older.
I leave for Brisbane, Australia tonight.
I haven't blogged in a few days. But it looks like Nick has been keeping you all entertained. Thanks Pal.
The past few years I have been working so much, and travelling so little. I have to re-learn some things. This 7-week trip is teaching me some lessons all over again.
I'm hanging out with Toby, an old mate of Chris's. We are chugging down a few beers and watching some sports and I am showing him our publishing system.

Myself, I was at Internet Outpost till 7pm waiting for the rain to slacken off. It didn't so I bought a $1.10 rainjacket and jumped on the bike heading home. The rain was so heavy I pulled into a hotel along the beach road for shelter, the water pooling at the sides of the road and bouncing off my glasses. No let up so I continued, worrying that the road might turn into a river like a couple of weeks ago. I drove slowly and made it home after about 20 minutes.
I am leaving for Brisbane, Australia on Feb 6th which is less than 1 week away. During this trip, I will meet our accountant down here and do some administrative things.
The past 24 hours or so, I have spent some time with Armadi from Captain Haddock's. She is a friendly, ambitious Balinese woman who is a pleasure to talk with. And she is a young, attractive, Indonesian single woman….Hmmmm.
