Getting ready to leave Bali and random thoughts
Nick and are are pounding away at Internet Outpost. You may be wondering what kind of pounding. Well, both on the keyboards and Bintangs. CEOs: The same everywhere
In the past week or so, there have been a few stories in the Oz news about CEOs that leave the company with huge benefit packages. In the case of the CEO leaving Commonwealth Bank, he received $33 million while the Shareholders’ stock is losing value etc. It reminded me of all the big company scandals in the US the past year or so…

Peregian: on the Sunshine Coast with Jay and Debbie
Jay is the gentleman referred to in Nick's profile. For years we had heard about him and finally in September 2001 he visited the BootBoyz in Eugene OR. So the myth was put to rest.
I was able to visit Jay and Debbie in Peregian on the Sunshine coast a few days ago…

Tiger Woods on Overseas Travel
Woods decided to skip the Dubai Desert Classic and $2 million in appearance money, saying it was too close to Iraq and not safe enough for him to travel.
“Going overseas in this particular year, right now, especially in that part of the world, is a little tough for me,” he said.

Sean arrived in Bali
Sean arrived at the house around 3pm this afternoon as I was typing up some interviews out back.
It was great to have him back and we joked that just like a married couple, I had stopped going to our local bar as I always went with him.

US Embassy in Sydney finally answers the phone
Well, I am getting an emergency passport replacement. I shipped the docs down today and should have them back by Thursday. Next plane to Bali after that is Saturday. So as long as my Yankee buddies in Sydney take care of my passport, I’ll be having dinner with Nick on Saturday night. I will also look into extending my time in Bali so that Nick and I can finish our todo list…not sure if it will happen. In the meantime, I finished two more entries and backdated them so they reflect the correct …
