Hot weather getting to you? Visit the coolest bar in Bali
A recent article in the Beat Magazine, the nightlife rag that circulates here at Circle K's, pointed out a cool venue in Sanur. The 'cool' part regards the temperature, not so sure about the bar itself as I haven't been there.

Cat & Fiddle pub: Sanur Bali
The Cat & Fiddle pub in Sanur can be considered the last bastion of British culture in Bali. Seminyak is Euro central with Italian and French restaurants, pizza parlors and Greek places. Well there is a fish & chips joint on Jl. Oberoi but British food is not tops on any menu. The Cat & Fiddle serves an assortment of Engligh and Irish favorites including Irish Bangers and mash ( 38,000rp), Fish & Chips (28,000rp ) and Mixed Grill (68,000rp). The menu is divided up into categories which are: International Breakfast, Sandwiches & Snacks, Starters, Main courses, Desserts.

Friday night music scene in Seminyak Bali
Friday night I road down to the Jazz Bar & Grille in Sanur to meet an Aussie friend of mine Richard from QLD. Richard is a muso and is always interested to check the local scene. We arrived way too early around 8pm and the music was scheduled for 10pm. After having a beer and catching up we decided to go to JP's Warung in Seminyak, about 200 meters from my house!
