Bali Seminyak Restaurants
Hot tips for Indonesian food in Seminyak Bali
Living in Bali means a lot of things, including getting used to and appreciating Indonesian food. I enjoy Indonesian food twice a day, just not at 7am and definitely not the greasy kind. There are a couple of favourite Bali food places that I have shared with other friends who have been equally impressed.

Warung Mimpi: Seminyak Bali
Warung Mimpi is a little Indonesian food place located on Jl. Dhyana Pura. I often go there for a couple of reasons. The food is quite good, portions are large and I can pick from the items on display, getting my plate within 2 minutes. My friend Chimene and I went over this afternoon and Chimene really loaded up. I tell you, when you look at all that nice food laid out, your eyes are bigger than our belly. For me its always 1 meat item, 1 veg item and rice. Today I had green beans and chicken in a light curry sauce. Warung Mimpi, which means ‘dream’, is open from 10am-10pm.

Seaside Restaurant: Legian Bali
Seaside Restaurant is located in the same location as the old Cafe Warna. The restaurant sits in front of the relatively new Seaside gym, the place that is responsible for my huge ‘wheels’ and bulging ‘guns’. My sister-in-law told me the food was good there, so I take that as a good recommendation.

Blue Ocean Beach Bali
Blue Ocean Beach is a place that draws tourists and expats alike. The beach itself is nothing to shout about, but the easy access to Legian and Seminyak (location, location, location) and the array of place to eat and drink, means Blue Ocean Beach is always busy. While working out today, I snapped a photo of the street where I park my motorbike. AS you can see, parking is tight, one reason I ride a bike instead of driving a car. In the last year, the banjar has started charging motorbikes 1,000rp for the privelage of parking along this stretch of beach.
