My house in Seminyak Bali: part I

The next door house has been rented here in Seminyak Bali. I live on a small gang (alley) in Seminyak off of Jl. Seminyak, the main street. I have been living in my place for about a year and a half and found it by accident. The deal with place is that I rent by the year, cash up front (25m rp) and get a contract). My landlord, Nyoman is pretty straight and I have had funny business. The landlord provides security, a little man who sleeps in the office at the front of the driveway and an outside gardener.

My house has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and lounge area, which is outside under the roof. With my garden and high walls I can lock the front door and have a party if I want. The neighboring house to me is identical, except that it's completely opposite since it faces me. My former neighbor, Lorenzo from Italy moved out a month ago and was a good person to live next to. He was quiet (except for those animated phone calls in Italian) and didn't cause any worries. Today we have new people and they are either Pommies or Aussies. I don't really care as long they are decent folks and am hoping they are not techno-heads.

Hi Nick… i hope you can help me to get an affordable place to stay in Bali. Would consider near Nusa dua, like share mate or something.
I would love to rent my own house but as for a start with a limited budget, I’m comfortable with kos or share mate.
Thanx heaps!
