inada100605.jpgSeminyak is the center of the expat scene in Bali and has a wonderful array of accommodation, restaurants and nightlife. It's also on the beach making it a cool place to stay. For people not wanting to pay $40 and up for a room there are budget options including the place Andy Walker stayed at recently, the Inada Losman on Gang Bima. I have walked passed Inada hundreds of times and have seen young travelers and surfers arriving. Inada is staffed by Balinese people but is obviously Japanese focused, with a large collection of Japanese books in the bookcase out front.

inada100605v2.jpgLocated 50 Meters from Jl. Seminyak, close to the junction with Jl. Dhyana Pura, Inada has 12 rooms in 1 2-story block. You will see a sign on Jl. Seminyak about 30 meters before Jl. Dhyana Pura for Inada. Rooms are simple with cold water, and fan. The area is quiet and Andy said it he was totally happy with the place and the price, 50,000rp per night. If you are arriving at the airport and want to stay at Inada, buy a taxi ticket from the office just to the right of the exit as you walk out. The fare is 45,000rp (Jl. Dhyana Pura) and you can ask your driver to take you to Gang Bima, the small lane. The drive will take about 25 minutes and means you are located about 15 minutes NW of Kuta.
