Bali hotels gives you the total relaxation in tropical paaradise you are looking for. That is the opinion anyway of the readers of Conde Nast Traveler. Conde Nast Traveler focuses on the high end traveler who values quality and luxury, over affordability. I usually don’t spend too long in fancy hotels but for a special occasion (wedding, honeymoon etc.) a big hotel with 6 restaurants and 3 swimming pools might be the ticket.
The Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay and Four Seasons Sayan were ranked high in Asia for resort hotels ( #1 & #5). Ritz Carlton came in #2 in Asia.
Wishing to give my readers the proper data I have previously contacted the Four Seasons to ask their permission to review their hotels. They declined, saying basically they want to control all the publicity about them. No worries, I will just promote someone else, but for those of you who just can’t get enough luxury give them a try.
Bali did quite well overall in the various categories although Phuket Thailand came above in for Best Island in Asia/Indian Ocean.

Frankly speaking, I have traveled and enjoyed many Four Seasons throughout the world and I found the staff and overall attendants quite disadvantaged compared to the others.
My time on the beach at J Bay, prior to the bomb, was better than being on the property.
Plus, all the guest there know they can get just as good of food down the beach for way less. Just watch out for the bombers/
Didn’t you say that you were leaving this blog and not to ever write comments in here again?
