All Seasons Resort: Legian Bali

Bali tourism is in transition. Older businesses are going down the crapper, new ones are opening up. There are all kinds of reasons / excuses, but one of the most powerful is ‘the customers want different stuff now’. Twenty year ago people came to Bali for bamboo bars, Wayan singing Bob Marley and guest houses. Now they want slicker places, AC and lounge bars. Riding through Jl. Padma Utara in Legian, I noticed a new place called the All Seasons Hotel

All Seasons Resort Bali is centrally located from the popular Legian and has an easy access to markets, shops and restaurants. The Legian’s famous beach is within a few minutes walk from the property. The resort boasts air-conditioned guest rooms that are functional, well designed and provides more space to its guests.

A restaurant and a cocktail bar are available for your dining pleasure. You can organize your meeting at the premises meeting room that accommodated up to 20 people. In addition, a swimming pool and massage service are also available for your relaxation.

The sign out front says “From 399,000rp”. For that you get a new hotel, with restaurant, bar, spa, swimming pool and internet corner.” This higher quality approach, combined with luxury villas is the trend here in Bali.

All Season’s Legian is a concrete monster; nothing “Bali” about it, tho the pool is OK. Best views look at the rooms on the other side. One night there out of 4 in Kuta/Legian was enough for us.

I’m a fan of hotels wherein all the rooms have a good view of the swimming pool. All Seasons is one of those hotels. That’s why I like it so much. Plus the pool is landscaped. The feeling is very tropical. I booked All Seasons thru this agency called Master Globe. They gave me a pretty good deal. I’ve been booking thru them ever since.
