Walking past Chill on Jl. Kunti, one could be forgiven for thinking it was the latest lounge bar to hit town. Walking in the front door, I was immediately hit by the tranquility and the great smell. The small reception area had 2 staff, dressed like they were auditioning for Star Trek Voyager. Lowering my voice and slowing myself down to accommodate the relaxed atmosphere I asked for a brochure.
Chill is part of The Villas and Prana Spa. The brochure states ‘Balance, Power, Harmony, generated by the force that surrounds us.’
Services offered at Chill are as follows:
The Classic - 60 minutes of acupressure and Reflexology on the feet, shoulders and neck. 80,000rp
The Ultimate Chill - 90 minutes combination acupressure and Reflexology. Feet, ankles, neck, shoulders. 120,000rp
Chill Out - 60 minutes of laying down massage working pressure points. 100,000rp
Divine Chill - 60 minutes acupressure and Reflexology. 2 therapists work simultaneously from feet to head. 150,000rp
Complete Chill - (200,000rp). Just kidding!
Behind the reception area was a water flow system and I asked 2 ladies from Japan if I could take a photo of them. Next to that was a large vault, opened by a sliding refrigerator like door. I felt like I was in the movie, The Island, where they are farming humans for their body parts. This place was ’super chill’ low lighting, massage booths and no noise. I reckon for someone with a chronic hangover a session in there would do you good.
Who knows I might check out Chill sometime. Feel sorry or anyone who has to tough my stinky feet.
