The Nusa Dua Beach Hotel is on of he premier hotels not only in Bali but the world. Located on the bach in Nusa Dua this hotel provides everything from large swimming pools, comfortable room, fine restaurants and a range of sporting and spa activities.
The lobby roof, done in traditional style but with dark wood rather than bamboo is the largest one I’ve seen.
All staff wear smart Balinese style uniforms and the reception area is imaculate.
The large swimming pools next to the beach, spa and many restaurants give an atmosphere similar to that of an upscale resort or club in southern California.
The hotel is located on the beach just north of the main entrance in Nusa Dua. Access is easy and the private beach is right there.
Nusa Dua itself is a relatively new area and has many hotels and resorts on a long strip. This area was chosen because of it safe swimming conditions and location away from the hussle and bussle of busy Kuta.
I found the size of the property, 8.5 hectares and the size and style of the swimming pools and private beach to be impressive.
There are 9 restaurants on property catering to all tastes as well as 24 hours room service.
The Nusa Dua spa has its own rectangular swimming pool surrounded by beautiful trees, perfect for relaxing.
The spa and exercise staff jumped to attention as we entered, attention to detail is very important here.
With 9 restaurants the hotel really tries to offer a selection. I saw a sign that said ?Thursday night is Italian night’ which did at first seem strange in Bali.
Total satisfaction and guest pleasure is what is offered here.
The Bali Beach Nusa Dua is perfect for a honeymoon couple and those wishing to have the full resort vacation they dream of.
With tennis courts, exercise facilities, spa and 9 restaurants a person could enjoy their time here without worry.

Manager: Aminudin Zuhri
Aminudin Zuhri is the assistant manager of the Bali Beach Hotel in Nusa Dua and is originally from Java. He has been working here for 19 years and hopes to stay in the area.
Aminudin says that Nusa Dua has traditional areas although it was built mainly for resorts.
The Bali Beach Nusa Dua opened 20 years ago and was the first hotel in Nusa Dua. With 8.5 hectares it has had many Presidents stay here including Ronald Reagan, Francios Mitterand.
Aminudin pointed out the large garden area and said that only 30% of the total land has been built on, the height of buildings never exceeding the height of the palm trees.
He showed us the large traditional open air lobby.
The occupancy right now is around 70%, with guests from the US, Europe, Australia and Japan making up the bulk of visitors.
Aminudin told us that European guests stay for an average of 14 nights while Australians and Japanese guests stay for an average of 7 nights.
Here at the Bali Beach Nusa Dua the staff friendliness is rated quite highly and also the traditional style buildings.
The hotel has a private beach and was renovated in 1996. There has also been recent upgrading.

The Palace Club
A private and exclusive executive club at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa. Guests can enjoy complimentary buffet breakfast, afternoon tea from 3 to 5pm and evening cocktails from 6 to 8pm daily at the Palace Lounge. Butler service is available 24 hours. In addition complimentary soft drinks, sodas, coffee and tea are served throughout the day at the Palace Lounge.
Palace Ocean Suite
Located on the 4th floor, the Palace Ocean suites are 98 square meters. The suite is luxuriously furnished with traditional Balinese materials from fabrics to wood carvings also completed with CD and video player facilities. The suites have a large living room and bedroom that leads to a private balcony that overlooks the Indian Ocean. The bathroom consists of a separate oversized bathtub, toilet and shower. Palace Club services included.
Nusa Dua Spa Suite
The private duplex Nusa Dua Spa suite is unique, the suite’s living room is on the ground floors and connects to a deluxe room. The bathroom is located on the 2nd floor of the suite with spiral stairs and full view of the lush tropical gardens of Nusa Dua Spa. Equipped with hi-tech compact discs and video player, the 2 bedroom suite also offers Palace Club services.
Agung Suite
This special allocated suite was named because guests can view mount Agung from its balcony. It has 2 luxurious bedrooms with 1 spacious living room. The suite is located on the 4th floor and enjoys a full view of the main pool and Indian Ocean. Equipped with hi-tech compact discs and video player facilities, the 2 bedroom suite also offers Palace Club services.
Presidential Suite
This private duplex Presidential Suite has a separate entrance, private swimming pool, large living, dining and study area and kitchen facilities. Upstairs is the master bedroom with jacuzzi and the separate guest bedroom has a private entrance to the suite. Palace Club services included.
The Residence
The Residence is located in a secluded beach front area. With a private driveway and entrance, this 2 floor villa houses its own private 25 meter lap pool, lush tropical gardens and features 3 living room areas, a formal dining room and 2 magnificent bedrooms.
The ideal private tropical haven for celebrities and captains of the industry, The Residence offers a luxurious retreat with excellent security arrangements, and all the royal services. Personal chef and spa therapist are available upon request. Palace Club services are included.
